Chère Jacqueline,

De retour depuis quelques jours de Bali et la villa où nous avons passé 15 jours merveilleux, je prends le temps de poster un petit commentaire.
Benoît et moi souhaitions chaleureusement remercier toute l'équipe de la villa Risa! Rita cuisine divinement bien et son sourire est toujours présent.Elle et Nengha font une équipe du tonnerre! Sans oublié Sumada qui nous a vraiment bien conseillé pour nos visites et Madé qui a toujours là pour nous véhiculer à travers l'île.
15 jours de relaxation, découvertes culturelles et de soleil que nous recommendons chaudement à tous.
Grand merci pour l'accueil, les conseils.

Dear Jacqueline,

For us it was in one word: paradise !!!

It was so great to be there. At first the Villa is fantastic! The comfort is very great, the atmosphere fantastic and all aspects seem to fit in this villa. The rooms are wide and full of luxury. The swimming pool is so nice and kept clean by Nengah.
The first nights we had to get used to living in an Indonesian village. Dogs barking sometimes, roosters starting to scream to each other very early. But after a couple of days we were used to it and it felt like normal.

We are spoiled by Rita who took care of everything. She did our shopping, cooked our meals and took care of everything. In the beginning we had the idea that we should have dinner in the restaurants in Sanur or Kuta. But after we tasted the difference in the quality and richness of Rita’s meals, we did not go out for dinner anymore.
Every night she has cooked for us a very nice meal, every time another taste and new flavors. We never have eaten so much fruit in our lives. What a taste, what a richness! I have eaten fruits that I never have heard of!!

Almost every other day we went out with Made to see the spectacular things of Bali. What a great driver, what a safe driver!! He could explain many things of Bali and we learned a lot of him.
Of course we were very lucky that we have seen the cremation ceremony of the queen of Ibud. Spectacular!! But we also enjoyed very much the happening where all the barongs are blessed. An occasion with only local people. We were the only tourists. Great photographs and very good atmosphere.

Every 3 or 4 days we asked for Eka who did our massages. What a luxury and for that price!!

We felt at home in Gang Nusah Dua. When we went out walking in the neighborhood, people started to talk to us. They were all very friendly and polite. We felt at home.

Well I can tell you for hours and hours of our positive experiences, but I have to end now. It was fantastic!! You might receive more people from Holland, because of my positive answers to people asking me: how were your holidays.
I made some 1200 photo’s. Did not see all of them yet. Maybe I can make a selection and send it to you.

For now I have to end!

It was paradise!!
